Adding your AI Agent via Google Tag Manager
Want to add your Heyloha AI Agent to your website via Google Tag Manager? It is very simple! With an embed code you make the chatbot directly visible on your site, while keeping full control via the Heyloha dashboard.
The embed code ensures you can turn your AI Agent on or off at any moment, without technical knowledge. This way your chatbot is always up to date and fully under your control.
How to add the embed code via Google Tag Manager
Go to the settings of your AI Agent
In the Heyloha dashboard, go to the settings of your AI Agent (click the gear icon).
Open the Advanced tab
In the menu on the left, click the Advanced tab.
Copy the Embed Code
Click Embed Code and copy the code shown.
Create a new tag in Google Tag Manager
Open your Google Tag Manager and add a new tag with the type Custom HTML. Paste the copied embed code here.
Set the trigger
Determine on which pages the chatbot should be visible. We recommend all pages. Within Heyloha you have the option to hide the Agent on specific pages or only show it on specific pages.
Your AI Agent is now active on your website. You can adjust the settings at any time via the Heyloha dashboard.
WordPress plugin
You can also add your AI Agent via the Heyloha WordPress plugin from the WordPress Plugin Directory. Install and activate the plugin, paste the embed code in the settings and the chatbot is immediately active.
Remove the old Google Tag Manager code if you switch to the WordPress plugin, to prevent the chatbot from loading twice.
