Creating an AI Phone Agent
With an AI Phone Agent you can have incoming phone calls handled automatically within the tone of voice, rules and knowledge you set. In this article you will read step by step how to create such a Phone Agent in Heyloha. Once the Agent is active, it independently answers calls based on your instructions and configured knowledge.
In short
You create a new AI Agent from the dashboard. You choose the type: Phone Agent. You select roles (determine behavior and tone of voice). You choose a website as knowledge source. You give the Agent a name and choose a voice. You bring the Agent to life and then set it to active.
How to create an AI Phone Agent
Click New AI Agent in the top right
In the dashboard you will find the New AI Agent button in the top right. Click here to start creating a new Agent.
Choose Phone Agent
A selection window appears where you select the Agent type. Choose Phone Agent here.
Choose one or more roles
Roles determine how the Phone Agent behaves during calls and which tone of voice is used. You can select one or more roles to steer the Agent's behavior.
Choose the website the AI is based on
Select an existing linked website or add a new website. The Agent uses this information as the basis during phone calls.
Give the Agent a name and choose a voice
Give the Agent a name and also choose a voice. The chosen voice determines how the Phone Agent sounds during phone calls. Click Bring Agent to life to create the Phone Agent.
Set the Agent to active
After creating, you will see the new Phone Agent in your dashboard, including the phone number. Click Settings and set the Agent to Active. From that moment the Agent can answer phone calls. In the settings menu you can always add extra knowledge, instructions or features later.
The Phone Agent only uses the information you add. The AI never supplements this on its own.
